Since 2022, Hwa Rang Taekwon-Do Club has grown into one of Dubai's most established ITF Taekwondo communities, operating across six venues, seven days a week, in Silicon Oasis, Motor City, Meydan South, Al Waha and Production City.

Who leads our taekwondo classes in Dubai

Hwa Rang is led by Master Carlos Bazan, a 7th Dan Black Belt, 3× ITF World Champion, 3× Pan-American Champion, and one of the most decorated Taekwondo instructors in the world. With 37 years in Taekwondo and 26 years of coaching, he brings world-class standards to every class in Dubai.

Every Hwa Rang instructor is ITF-certified, fully trained in Child Safeguarding, and First Aid qualified. But credentials tell only part of the story. Our instructors know when to push, when to encourage, and how to make every child feel genuinely capable, not just praised.

What is ITF Taekwon-Do & why choose it?

Taekwon-Do, the Art of self defense, was officially established on April 11, 1955, by General Choi Hong Hi in Korea. The name "Taekwon-Do" is combining three Korean words: Tae (kick with the foot), Kwon (strike with the fist), and Do (the way or Art).

The International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) is an international taekwondo organization founded on March 22, 1966, by General Choi Hong Hi in Seoul, Korea and now led by his son Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa. The ITF was founded to promote and encourage the growth of the Korean martial Art of Taekwon-Do.
